5 Year Anniversary!! Celebrate Families with ASD's 5th Anniversary and 2nd Annual Autism Awareness Kickoff!!!
Who? Any one touched by Autism. Our meetings are family centered and opened to everyone. We want you to bring your children.
When? Saturday, March 27th , 11 a.m. to 4p.m.
Where? Autism Family Resource Center, 5989 Meijer Drive, Suite 9, Milford, OH.
Why? Families with ASD loves Helping Families with Autism. 95% of our ASD Volunteers have a family member with autism. 100% of our ASD Board volunteers our time to the ASD group. We live with autism so we understand the journey your family is making.
How? It is FREE. Come celebrate our 5 Year Anniversary!! Families with ASD was founded in March 2005 by Julia and Greg Smith. Our group has grown from 7 families to the 500 plus families that we currently serve!
Stop by the center and help us celebrate all that Families with ASD has done for our community and also kick off the April Autism Awareness Month.
We will have local guest authors of the book," How Our Children With Autism Raised Us As Parents" , Sandy Hallet and Nikki Wisor available to sell and sign their book!

Take a tour of the Autism Family Resource Center. Check out the Autism Sharing Library and get your FREE Library Card. Also visit our Computer Lab and be able to create PECS pictures and Social Stories for FREE!
Each child can make an autism awareness key chain, and create a puzzle piece to be hung in our office window.
Meet TEAM ASD, Flying Pig Walkers who will be walking the Flying Pig to help raise funds for the Autism Family Resource Center.
Come by and get a FREE hot dog/hamburger from our Master Griller, Greg Smith! We will also have Cake and Ice Cream to celebrate our 5 Year Anniversary!!
We will have Corn Hole and other family activities to help celebrate our 5th Anniversary! Please join us and be surrounded by other families living with autism.

Saturday, April 10th and Sunday, April 11th: the 1st Annual Autism Health and Fitness Weekend sponsored by Families with ASD! Another FREE EVENT for families. More info coming soon!
Sunday, May 2nd: Team ASD walking the half-marathon at the Flying Pig Marathon to raise money for Families with ASD's Autism Support Group and Autism Family Resource Center.
Saturday, September 25th: 5th Annual Families with ASD's Autism Expo!!! at Live Oaks in Milford, OH. FREE ANNUAL EVENT for FAMILIES!!! Lots of FREE information, FREE Guest Speakers, FREE Family Activities!!
Saturday, October 23rd: 6th Annual Family with ASD's Autism Friendly Halloween Party: FREE EVENT for families. RSVP's are needed and will begin Oct 1st, 2010.
Saturday, November 20th: 6th Annual Families with ASD's trip on the Kindervelt North Pole Express! Train Tickets will go on sale in Oct.
Saturday, December 11th: 6th Annual Autism Friendly Breakfast with Santa!! FREE EVENT for families. This is Families with ASD's 6th year in providing an autism friendly Christmas party for the whole family! RSVP's are needed and will begin in Nov. of 2010.
